Technical Accounting Manager

Our late stage venture-backed SaaS client is looking for a Technical Accounting Manager. Strong knowledge of US GAAP, SEC Reporting, and SOX is required. Job Description:Lead complex technical accounting issues and implement guidance accuratelyDocument technical accounting memos and disclosuresWork closely with External AuditorsWork cross-functionally with operations, legal, tax, finance, and engineering teamsSupport technical accounting related to ASC 718 and stock-based compensationOwn financial statement and related disclosuresAssist with the implementation and evaluation of proposed accounting standardsQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance2+ years of experience in public accounting2+ years of experience in technical accounting within a company, preferably in technology, OR in an accounting advisory consulting practiceStrong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and explain complex accounting topics to non-accounting stakeholders.Strong analytical skills and experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment SaaS industry experience is preferredExperience with NetSuite is a plus
