At STI Polymer, You Drive. We Navigate.Job Description: We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Blend Technicians to join our dynamic team. This role is essential for maintaining the quality and efficiency of our polymer production process.Key ResponsibilitiesWeighing and preparing raw materials accurately according to specifications.Operating and monitoring equipment to drain reactor vessels.Filtering and ensuring the quality of finished goods.Packaging finished polymer with detailed attention to safety and standards.Regularly lifting materials up to 50 pounds.Maintaining a clean and organized work environment.Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.New hires will train on 1st shift for approximately 45 days prior to going to 2nd or 3rd shift**RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalentGood basic math skills.Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex instructions.Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.Ability to safely operate a forklift.Must be able to wear a full-face respirator mask.Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment.Excellent teamwork and communication skills.Prior experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.Ability to bend, stoop, push/pull, and climb stairs.Completion of Predictive Index assessment.Salary Description $18/hr + shift differential
