Role: Lead Consultant | Dynamics AX (SCM Specialist) Location: Richardson, TX (100% On-site) Compensation: $52.87/hr (W2) Duration: 11 Months Only Visa independent candidate Prefer Position OverviewWe are seeking a senior Dynamics AX Lead Consultant with over 10 years of experience to drive solution design and system configuration.This role is focused on the Supply Chain Management (SCM) module, requiring a consultant who can translate complex user stories into robust functional designs.You will bridge the gap between business requirements and technical execution, ensuring a high-quality, customized ERP solution.Key Responsibilities* Solution Architecture: Lead the Solution Design phase, preparing Gap-Fit analyses and justifications based on user story requirements.* Functional Documentation: Author comprehensive FRDs (Functional Requirement Documents) and FDDs (Functional Design Documents) to guide the technical team.* System Configuration: Configure the Dynamics AX environment to meet specific SCM business requirements and customization needs.* Technical Alignment: Partner with the technical development team during design discussions to ensure the final solution is scalable and performant.* Testing & Quality: Prepare and execute rigorous test cases, conduct POCs (Proof of Concepts), and lead system demos for key stakeholders.* Knowledge Transfer: Create training plans and lead client training sessions for all newly developed solutions.Required Qualifications* 10+ Years of experience in Microsoft Dynamics Technologies, specifically Dynamics AX.* Certification: Must hold a valid Dynamics ERP Certification.* Domain Expertise: Deep knowledge of Supply Chain Management (SCM) modules and customization.* Documentation Skills: Proven track record in preparing Gap-Fit, FDD, and FRD artifacts.* Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for client-facing demos and workshops.
