Glassboro Public Schools is currently a Spanish Teacher at Bowe Elementary School for the 2026-2027 School Year. This position begins September 1, 2026.Instruct students in Groups, using various teaching methods such as Lectures, Discussions and Demonstrations to enhance their communication and understanding of the Spanish languageEncourage students to practice vocabularies learned and assist students in accurately listening, speaking, writing and reading SpanishIncorporate relevant Experience with Knowledge of Instructional Strategies and Classroom Practices for Spanish curriculumUtilize working Experience with Curricular Planning and ImplementationMinimum Requirements:State of NJ Certification (1550 - Teacher of Spanish) RequiredExtensive knowledge of the Spanish language, culture, and of pedagogyAbility to Work with a Diverse Population, Including Experience with ESL StudentsAbility to establish great communication with students, families and colleaguesSuccessful Completion of Fingerprinting and Criminal History Review ProcessTERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:This is a ten (10) month position with salary and contract terms to be negotiated with the Superintendent and the Board of Education.EVALUATION:Performance in this position will be evaluated annually in accordance with provisions of the Board's policy on evaluation of personnel.BENEFITSHealth Insurance, Dental Insurance and Vision Insurance.
