Job Description Working Foreman Commercial FenceJob Summary:This position requires a construction minded individual. You will be responsible for overseeing the installation of high-quality fences for commercial properties. You will lead a team of dedicated fence installers, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.Responsibilities:Positive attitude and willingness to learnCoach and teach the skills of the tradeFollow schedules and monitor attendance of crew members to maintain the timeline of job(s)Allocate general and daily responsibilities to meet project goalsSupervise and train crew membersResolve problems when they ariseReport on-site progress to superintendent or project managerSupervise the use of machinery and equipmentClean and ensure all equipment is in proper working orderEnsure all safety precautions and quality standards are metTranslate job tasks to co-workers in ways they can understandLook over layoutCalculate concrete requirements accuratelyCoordinate materials/equipment timelines and deliveriesProficient in reading blueprintsForecast manpower needsOversee daily safety/housekeepingAbility to manage peopleRead and interpret grade stakesVerify the one call is complete and all markings have been identifiedCommunicate day-to-day progressJobsite forecastingCorrective Action FormsEvaluations with crew (60-Day and other evaluations)OSHA 10, working toward OSHA 30Class A CDL preferredQualifications:High school or equivalent is requiredUS work authorization is requiredValid driver's license is required, reliable transportation, a CDL is a plusAble to meet physical requirements of the position including, but not limited to: prolonged periods of standing and sitting, working in confined spaces and from heights, bending, kneeling, climbing stairs and ladders, working in a variety of conditions (heat, cold, etc.), lift up to 50 lbs. unassistedDemonstrate ability to work independently while also able to work in a team settingWilling to work M-F with weekends, 8–12-hour shifts, and overtime when neededAbility to use a variety of hand tools and all power toolsAbility to operate heavy equipment, i.e. skid loader, telescoping boom lift, etc.OSHA 30 (Preferred)Benefits:Empire pays for employee hotels when traveling as well as $60/day per diem on top of your salary.401k, health, life, vision and dental insurance, PTOProfessional development assistancePotential Bonus pay$60/day pier diemSalary: $25.00 - $35.00 per hourhc152146
