Elementary Instructional Coach (2026-2027)
Primary PurposeThe Instructional Coach serves as an instructional leader and collaborative partner on campus, focused on improving teaching and learning through job-embedded professional development and data-informed decision-making. This position supports teacher teams in consistently implementing high-impact and research-based instructional practices, facilitates the Professional Learning Community (PLC) process with fidelity, and builds teacher capacity in lesson planning, assessment literacy, and student progress monitoring (MTSS). The instructional coach will establish a rapport and maintain constructive interaction with teachers, teams, and administrators.QualificationsEducation/Certification:Valid Texas teaching certificate requiredBachelor's degree in education or related field requiredMaster's degree preferredAppropriately certifiedSpecial Knowledge/SkillsGeneral knowledge of elementary curriculum design and implementationSpecific knowledge of assessment and lesson designGeneral knowledge of serving special populations of learnersExcellent communication, public relations, and interpersonal skillsDemonstrate organizational and technology skillsEffective oral and written communication skillsAbility to interpret data and evaluate instructional programs and teaching effectivenessAbility to develop and deliver training to adult learnersExperienceAt least five years of successful teaching experienceExperience in development, preparation, and presentation of professional development preferredReading Academy certificate preferredGT Training preferredESL certification preferred Work Schedule: 197 DaysSalary: Teacher Hiring ScheduleScreenings may begin 5 school days from date posted.
