By providing world-class customer service and tailored programs, we generate value for our customers by providing a solution to help them meet their sustainability and environmental goals.Environmental Services, a Division of Superior Environmental Services is looking for a safety-focused waste removal Warehouse Associate(Industrial/Environmental) to join our dynamic team.What You Will Be DoingKey responsibilities and functions may include, but are not limited to:Hazardous waste removal from the facilitySorting, cutting, baling, etc. nonhazardous material to prepare for recycling operations.Separate processed materials into appropriate bins for recycling.Will need to be able to lift 50 pounds, sustain frequent bending, and stand for an extended period of time.The work environment includes an open warehouse, minimal noise levels, occasional fragrances, and manageable temperatures depending on the seasonRecord keeping QualificationsWhat skills we are looking for:Team player Excellent organization skills to be able to complete various forms, records, and reportsForklift experience is a plus but not requiredFamiliarity with the use of hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other necessary warehouse equipmentAttention to detail is a must, as you will be inspecting products and keeping detailed recordsEssential Functional RequirementsMust be able to work full time, extended shifts of up to 12 hoursHear and distinguish emergency signals and instructions while on dutyMust be able to work in a warehouse environmentPhysical stamina and dexterity necessary for the work; ability to lift or move at least 50lbs and stand for extended periods of timeMust have reliable transportationMust be safety conscious and have a good work ethicEnsure equipment and company property is maintained in proper conditionMust be able to pass a pre-employment, random, and or post-accident/injury substance abuse screeningThe use of safety gear is requiredAll necessary Personal Protective Equipment including, but not limited to, safety glasses, cut-resistant gloves/sleeves, and retractable box cutters will provide along with the necessary training to maintain a safe work environmentAbout UsEnvironmental Services' mission is to source and provide the best methods for handling materials and waste in an environmentally-friendly way that will create a better planet for future generations.
