Hi-Lo Driver

Job Overview GFA is seeking a skilled Hi-lo Driver to join our dynamic warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating high-lift equipment, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of goods within the warehouse. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The Hi-lo Driver will play a crucial role in maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting overall warehouse operations. Responsibilities Operate hi-lo equipment safely and efficiently to move products within the warehouse. Load and unload materials from trucks and containers, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage. Utilize RF scanners for tracking inventory and order picking processes. Assist with order picking and packing as needed, ensuring accuracy in fulfillment. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to OSHA safety standards. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and address any operational challenges. Perform heavy lifting as required, ensuring proper techniques are used to avoid injury. Participate in regular training sessions on warehouse management systems and safety protocols. Requirements Proven experience as a Hi-lo Driver or similar role within a warehouse environment. Familiarity with warehouse management systems and order picking processes. Knowledge of OSHA regulations and commitment to workplace safety. Ability to operate cherry pickers and other material handling equipment effectively. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills. Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) regularly throughout the shift. Effective communication skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment. Previous experience in warehouse supervision or management is a plus but not required.
