General Superintendent

Overview:Inuka is working with a heavy civil construction company to recruit a General Superintendent based in Phoenix. This role will lead field execution for complex cast-in-place segmental bridge projects across the U.S., ensuring safe, high-quality, and efficient delivery.Responsibilities:Lead day-to-day construction activities for segmental bridge projects.Oversee segment sequencing, post-tensioning, geometry control, and concrete operations.Coordinate with engineering, survey, and project teams to maintain alignment and quality standards.Manage field crews, subcontractors, and construction schedules.Ensure compliance with DOT, AASHTO, and project specifications.Resolve field execution and alignment challenges proactively.Drive safety, productivity, and operational performance on site.Qualifications:10+ years of heavy civil construction experience with direct exposure to cast-in-place segmental bridges.Strong knowledge of balanced cantilever methods, travelers, and post-tensioning systems.Experience with geometry control, survey coordination, and bridge tolerances.Proven leadership experience managing large field teams and complex bridge works.Ability to interpret construction drawings and technical specifications.Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.Willingness to travel as required.
