The CDO will be responsible for creating and executing a strategic fundraising plan that aligns with the company's vision, with a focus on securing significant private revenue from various sources. This includes cultivating relationships with major donors, foundations, and corporate partners, as well as overseeing donor stewardship programs and identifying new funding opportunities. The successful candidate will also be involved in coordinating fundraising events, collaborating with marketing teams, and ensuring the development team is high-performing and collaborative.Candidates for the CDO position at the company should have a bachelor's degree (master's preferred) and a proven track record in fundraising, donor relations, and business development. The role requires exceptional communication, relationship-building, and leadership skills, as well as proficiency in donor database systems and fundraising software. Experience in public relations, marketing, and a strong understanding of nonprofit fundraising trends are essential.
