Housekeeper PT
Summary
The Housekeeper is primarily responsible for performing general cleaning and housekeeping duties as assigned.

Essential Functions

Vacuum carpets and sweep, dust and mop floors
Spot clean floor coverings, walls, doors and window glass
Dust and polish furniture and fixtures
Empty and reline wastebaskets
Clean drinking fountains
Clean restrooms and replenish supplies
Pick up trash and refuse and deposit in appropriate containers
Assist during emergency situations or hazardous conditions
Assist custodians as assigned
Assist set-ups as assigned
Perform related duties as required
Minimum Qualifications
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and abilities required to satisfactorily perform the essential duties and responsibilities.
Knowledge of:
Basic and safe operation of general housekeeping tools
Basic operation of building equipment and building systems
Ability to:
Possess a Valid Class D Illinois driver's license
Preferred Qualifications
Completion of high school diploma or equivalent with 6 months or more of direct experience OR Completion of high school diploma or equivalent with 1 or more years of related experience.
