This role requires advanced experience in Splunk Cloud, SIEM, log management, data onboarding, and Python-based automation, with a focus on ingesting, normalizing, validating, and optimizing data for Security Operations, IT Operations, and Compliance use cases. The ideal candidate will bring strong observability, cloud, systems engineering, troubleshooting, and automation experience to support scalable, resilient, and compliant monitoring capabilities across logs, metrics, events, and traces.Roles & ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop technical solutions for engineering and observability requirements.Implement and support Splunk Cloud solutions, including SIEM, log management, and data onboarding.Ingest, normalize, validate, and optimize data sources in Splunk for security, IT operations, and compliance use cases.Develop Python-based scripts and automation solutions for monitoring, data processing, and operational efficiency.Perform system integration, testing, and validation to ensure performance, reliability, and scalability.Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues affecting platform functionality and data flows.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and provide technical input.Support observability capabilities across logs, metrics, events, and traces.Apply cloud platform and AI/ML-driven analytics capabilities to improve monitoring and operational insight.Document technical specifications, procedures, and support processes.Required Skills / ExperienceAdvanced experience in Splunk with 6–9 years of hands-on engineering, administration, and platform support experienceAdvanced experience in Python with 6–9 years of hands-on scripting, automation, and development experienceExperience with SIEM, log management, and data onboardingKnowledge of observability engineering and monitoring practicesBackground in cloud-native development and systems engineeringExperience with automation, troubleshooting, and platform integrationFamiliarity with AI/ML-driven analytics and modern cloud platformsStrong collaboration and technical documentation skillsThe expected pay range for this contract assignment is $50 - $55 per hour.
