Medical Assistant PositionACI Health is seeking a certified and experienced Medical Assistant to support healthcare services at the Federal Correctional Complex (FCC) in Hazelton, located in Bruceton Mills, WV. This is a meaningful opportunity to deliver high-quality patient care in a unique correctional setting- offering a competitive hourly rate of $19/hour.Responsibilities include:Supporting physicians and providers with patient exams and minor surgical proceduresRecording vital signs, preparing patients, administering medications as directedPerforming tasks such as blood draws, EKGs, urinalysis, and glucose testingMaintaining medical records, clinic supplies, and ensuring infection control complianceCollaborating with clinic staff to manage patient flow and ensure timely careUsing government electronic medical systems (e.g., BEMR, SENTRY)Qualifications:Valid certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, NCMA, or CCMA)Current and unrestricted license to practice in West VirginiaCPR certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross)Strong interpersonal and clinical skillsExperience in a correctional or institutional setting preferred but not requiredSchedule:Monday through FridayDay shifts between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM (7.510 hours/day)Federal holidays offWork Environment:FCC Hazelton includes multiple facilities: USP, FCI, SFF, and SPCAll equipment and supplies are provided by the institutionProfessional attire required (scrubs or business casual, per facility guidelines)Job Type: Full-timePay: $19.00 per hourExpected hours: 40 per weekBenefits:Dental insuranceHealth insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule:5x8Day shiftMonday to FridayWork Location: In person
