This role directs and performs inspections on commercial regional aircraft systems-including airframe, avionics, engines, electrical, fuel, hydraulics, and flight controls-ensuring all work meets FAA regulations, company standards, and customer requirements. The position is accountable for upholding the highest levels of safety, quality, and operational integrity while setting the standard for inspection excellence on the floor.This position reports directly to the Director of Quality and serves as a key leadership role bridging Quality and Production operations.Minimum Qualifications (Required)MUST HOLD a valid Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) CertificateMinimum 5 years of aviation maintenance experienceDemonstrated leadership and supervisory experienceStrong aircraft systems and maintenance knowledgePreferred Qualifications3 years of leadership experience in a 14 CFR Part 145 MROStrong knowledge of FAA regulations (14 CFR Parts 43 & 145)MHI CRJ Series or De Havilland Aircraft (DHC-8) ExperienceKey ResponsibilitiesEnsure full compliance with FAA regulations, RSQCM, and customer requirementsSupervise and lead Quality Control Inspectors in daily operationsServe as the primary decision authority on product quality issues and airworthiness determinationsEnsure timely and accurate submission of Service Difficulty Reports (SDRs) and irregularitiesManage inspector qualifications, training compliance, and inspection authority assignmentsIssue, control, and revoke Inspection Authorizations and stamps as requiredSupport and enforce On-the-Job Training (OJT) programs for inspection personnelEnsure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of maintenance documentation and work packagesMonitor and drive correction of work card discrepanciesAct as liaison between Quality, Production, and Management to ensure alignment and complianceParticipate in production meetings while maintaining independent quality oversightPromote adherence to company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirementsOur Recruitment CommitmentsWe thank all applicants for their interest; however, only those selected for an interview will be contacted.Depending on qualifications, selected candidates may be offered a role at a more appropriate level.Avmax Group offers a competitive compensation package including an optimal benefits plan and retirement plan.Avmax Group Inc. is dedicated to and prides itself on being an EEO/AA employer.
