We are excited to open our newest treatment center in Agawam, MA, focused on Substance Use Disorder (SUD) treatment for adults.This is an opportunity to join a growing team during the startup phase of a new facility and play a meaningful role in supporting individuals on their recovery journey.Position SummaryWe are seeking compassionate and clinically skilled Counselors / Therapists to provide therapeutic services to adults receiving treatment for Substance Use Disorder (SUD) and co-occurring mental health conditions. This position will support clients through assessment, treatment planning, individual and group therapy, crisis intervention, and discharge planning while contributing to a safe and recovery-focused treatment environment.Key ResponsibilitiesAssess the behavioral, emotional, cognitive, social, and spiritual needs of clients and their familiesDevelop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the clinical teamFacilitate clinical services including individual, family, and group therapyMaintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with program, licensing, and accreditation standardsParticipate in utilization review processes by providing required documentationSupport the development of aftercare plans and assist with outcomes trackingContribute to clinical programming, including curriculum development and program enhancementProvide crisis intervention and help maintain a safe, therapeutic environmentConduct Level of Care assessments as neededParticipate in clinical on-call rotation as assignedComplete all required trainings and maintain compliance with regulatory and organizational standardsQualificationsCandidates must meet one of the following requirements at the time of hire:Hold an LADC II or higher clinical licensure, orPossess a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Human Services or a related field in lieu of licensure, orBe license-eligible, with eligibility confirmed by the site Clinical Director or Executive DirectorPreferred ExperienceExperience in residential treatment settingsExperience working with clients with Substance Use Disorder (SUD) and co-occurring mental health disordersFamiliarity with electronic clinical records (ECR) systemsKnowledge of evidence-based treatment practicesWhy Join Pyramid Healthcare?Opportunity to help launch a new treatment programCollaborative and mission-driven clinical teamMeaningful work supporting individuals in recoveryProfessional growth and advancement opportunitiesFlexible full-time and part-time scheduling optionsPyramid CORE ValuesWe are committed and proud to live our CORE values and use them to inspire those around us.
