Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Jersey City, NJ

A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) specializing in school and pediatric settings, located in Jersey City, NJ. This role supports students in grades 3-8, primarily serving self-contained students with multiple disabilities in a grades 5/6 building. The position involves covering maternity leave from April 27 to June 24, and again from September 3 to November 20.Key Responsibilities:Provide speech and language therapy services to students with multiple disabilities within a school setting.Collaborate with educators and support staff to develop individualized treatment plans.Utilize clinical skills aligned with the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) standards.Monitor student progress and adjust therapy goals as necessary.Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school policies and state regulations.Qualifications and Experience:Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.Experience working with pediatric populations within schools or healthcare settings.Skilled in managing caseloads including students with complex needs and multiple disabilities.Strong communication and collaboration abilities.Work Schedule and Location:Contract position aligned with the school calendar.School hours: 8:30 AM to 2:55 PM.Located in Jersey City, NJ.This role offers a unique opportunity to support diverse student needs during key transitional periods within the academic year.
