Day Shift Maintenance Technician

HiFyve is hiring a Plant Maintenance Mechanic in the Food & Beverage industry in St. Paul, MN!Salary: $30-33 an hourShift: Day Shift 6 am - 6 pm rotating 2-2-3 scheduleLocation: St. Paul, MNJob Duties and Responsibilities:• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on production, packaging, processing equipment, and utility systems.• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, refrigeration, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.• Ensure machinery and equipment are operating efficiently to minimize downtime.• Maintain accurate maintenance records and logs.• Conduct routine inspections to identify and address potential equipment issues.• Collaborate with the production team to improve equipment performance.• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.• Assist in the development and implementation of preventive maintenance programs.• Provide technical support and training to other maintenance personnel.Education Requirements:• High school diploma or equivalent.• Technical or vocational training in maintenance-related fields is preferred.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals and blueprints.• Experience with refrigeration, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.• Familiarity with safety protocols and procedures in an industrial setting.
