Responsibilities
You will play a key role in creating a positive shopping experience for customers, driving sales, and upholding the integrity of our brand
You will oversee visual merchandising efforts, ensure store maintenance and cleanliness, and handle customer complaints and inquiries
Leading and managing a team of sales associates, including setting goals, providing feedback and coaching, and conducting performance evaluations
Hiring, training, and retaining a team of sales associates
Overseeing inventory management, ordering new products, and ensuring that the store is fully stocked at all times
Monitoring sales performance and implementing strategies to increase revenue and profitability
Providing excellent customer service and handling customer complaints or issues in a professional and timely manner
Implementing loss prevention strategies
Maintaining a clean and organized store, including conducting regular inventory counts and implementing store layout changes as needed
Overseeing store displays and visual merchandising
Working closely with the mall/building management team to ensure that Portland Gear's store aligns with any policies and procedures
Conducting team training and bonding when fit
The Store Manager at Portland Gear is responsible for the overall operations of their respective retail store, including financial performance, customer service, inventory management, and employee management.
