Job DescriptionThe Machine Operator - Paint is responsible for operating powdercoat (blades) and liquid (holesaw) paint equipment.Duties And ResponsibilitiesSet up, operate, and shut down paint lineAble to work in dust, vapors, etc.Load/unload paint line with productRecognize and react to problems with equipment, make adjustments as requiredInspect and verify product according to quality standardsUse paint thickness gauge to verify paint thicknessHone turnover belt (powder application)Perform daily Preventative Maintenance (PM) on paint line equipmentInspect, clean, and change out tips on paint gunsPerform frequent walk-throughs to ensure equipment is operating properlyChange out and add paint as requiredCheck and clean re-claim hoppersMaintain production pace and standardsAdhere to all safety requirements in the work areaPractice 5SsKnowledge, Skills And AbilitiesUnderstand and follow verbal and written instructionsBasic math skillsBasic mechanical skillsEducation And Experience RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent1 year of machine operation experience preferredMilwaukee Tool is an equal opportunity employer.
