The APP will provide high-quality care to patients with oncologic conditions, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive treatment and support.Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive assessments, including history taking, physical examinations, and diagnostic evaluations. Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the oncology team. Administer treatments, including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and other medications as prescribed. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary. Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding diagnosis, treatment options, and symptom management. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and effective patient care. Participate in oncology clinical trials and research initiatives. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements.Qualifications: Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program. Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) in the state of Maryland. National certification as an NP or PA. Minimum of 2 years of experience in oncology, preferably in a hospital setting. Strong clinical skills in oncology care, including chemotherapy administration and symptom management. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care.Preferred Qualifications: Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems. Certification in Oncology Nursing (OCN) or Advanced Oncology Certified Nurse Practitioner (AOCNP). Bilingual proficiency.Working Conditions: PRN position with rotating shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Exposure to infectious diseases, hazardous materials, and oncology medications.Salary Range: Minimum 71.16/hour - Maximum 71.16/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
