The role requires strong analytical ability, business acumen, and stakeholder management in a fast-paced startup environment.Key Responsibilities Business PartneringWork closely with category, operations, and supply chain teams to drive financial performanceProvide data-driven insights for business decisions and growth strategiesSupport leadership in evaluating new initiatives, pricing, and expansion plans Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planningAnalyze revenue, margins, costs, and unit economicsTrack actuals vs budget and highlight key variances MIS & ReportingPrepare monthly, weekly, and ad-hoc MIS reportsDevelop dashboards for business performance tracking (GMV, contribution margin, burn rate, etc.)Present financial insights to senior management Cost & Profitability ManagementMonitor cost structures across logistics, procurement, and operationsIdentify cost optimization opportunitiesConduct SKU/category-level profitability analysis Strategic Finance & Decision SupportEvaluate new business models, partnerships, and investmentsPerform scenario analysis and financial modelingSupport fundraising and investor reporting (if required) Process Improvement & ControlsStreamline financial processes and reporting systemsEnsure compliance with internal controls and policiesCollaborate with accounting team for accurate financial closureKey RequirementsEducational QualificationCA / MBA (Finance) / CFA preferredExperience5–8 years in Business Finance / FP&A / ConsultingExperience in E-commerce / FMCG / Startup ecosystem preferredSkills RequiredStrong financial modeling and analytical skillsAdvanced Excel / Google Sheets (SQL/BI tools is a plus)Business understanding of unit economics & P&LExcellent stakeholder management and communicationAbility to work in a high-growth, dynamic environmentKey CompetenciesStrategic thinkingProblem-solving mindsetOwnership & accountabilityData-driven decision makingAdaptability in startup cultureReporting StructureReports to: Head of Finance / CFOWorks closely with: Business, Operations, Category, Supply Chain teams
