Java Developer

Senior Java Developer/ArchitectThis Senior Java Developer/Architect will be working on the design and development of a portfolio of healthcare-based web/mobile applications. He or she will be responsible for developing, implementing, maintaining and supporting Java-based components and interfaces. This key resource should have a broad understanding of various coding methodologies, testing practice, and tools and know when to apply each method to achieve the desired outcomes, and must display excellent written and oral skills with demonstrated interpersonal and organization abilities and must be able to work in a varied, fast paced environment.We are looking for Senior Java/J2ee Developers with strong passion for developing quality code and deep understanding of core concepts of Java/J2ee and Web Services technologies.Responsibilities:This is a hands-on role with primary focus on analysis, design, and development of complex web applications.Facilitate the Agile development process through daily scrum, sprint planning, sprint demo, and retrospective meetings.Design, develop, and unit test applications in accordance with established standards.Participate in solution design.Analyze and resolve technical and application problems.Research and evaluate a variety of software products and development tools.Strong experience in developing REST based web services utilizing industry standard frameworks such as Spring/Apache CXF.Hands-on experience with relational databases.Proven communication skills, both written and oral.Familiarity with all facets of SDLC - ranging from inception to deployment.Responsible for code asset management for applications, and support and promoting asset reuse.Supports the implementation of systems into production.Works independently and efficiently to meet deadlines.Qualifications:8-10 years of experience working IT industry developing solutions in Java/J2EE technologies and at least 2 years' experience as a senior developer in designing Java/J2EE solutions.Experience with Micro Services architectureStrong Experience around Application Security such as:API SecurityApp SecurityData SecurityLog SecurityExperience with CI/CD using ContainersSolid understanding of how Mobile applications interact with the backendExperience API development for Mobile AppsSkills/Tools:Experience in Agile developmentExpertise in Java, Spring, RESTful Web Services, MQ, AJAX/JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, JDBC, any RDBMS databases, JUnitSolid Knowledge of SQL development and performance tuning.Working knowledge of Maven, GitHubThorough understanding of OOADDemonstrated the ability to design, plan and execute.
