Tool & Die Maker - 1st Shift

Position DescriptionBasic Function:Responsible for managing and assembling tooling projects, ensuring components meet specifications and deadlines. Key Responsibilities:Participate in Pre-Build meetings to plan efficient manufacturing processesAssemble tooling and verify machined components meet specificationsMachine components using standard processes to required tolerancesManage assigned tooling projects to meet customer quality and delivery expectationsPrinciple Duties:Assemble components into completed toolingSet up and operate tools to manufacture componentsTrain and mentor apprenticesEducation & Experience:Skills: Advanced math, basic computer skills, ability to read technical drawings, strong communicationEducation/Training: High school diploma or equivalent, plus completion of a state-indentured Tool & Die apprenticeship OR 6+ years as a non-indentured Tool & Die MakerExperience: 3-5 years building progressive tooling (metal stamping preferred)Certification: Journeyman Card in Tool & Die
