Material Handler - 2nd Shift

To us, metal is more than material.Wieland is looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented 2nd Shift Material Handler. Candidates will assist with overall operations, including processing products, maintaining inventory, setting up machine stations, and packing outgoing material. This role is located in Texas City, TX and will be fully on-site.Starting Pay: $18.00 per hourShift Differential: $1.25 per hourSchedule: 2nd Shift (2:45 pm - 11:15 pm)ResponsibilitiesMaterial Handler Responsibilities:Duties and responsibilities include (but not limited to) the following:Create and maintain a safe organized working environmentAssist in reviewing outgoing shipping documents and package productAssist in inspections of product orders for accuracyAssist in loading/unloading packages from trucksReport product discrepancies to managementActively communicate with teammatesOperate forklifts to relocate materialOther Operations tasks as assignedQualificationsMaterial Handler Qualifications:High School Diploma or equivalentUnderstanding of manufacturing industries preferredAbility to work under pressure in fast-paced environmentsAbility to read a tape measureAbility to prioritize multiple projects and deadlinesStrong attention to detail (critical skill)Ability to communicate professionally with customers, coworkers and managementAbility to work as part of a team and offer assistance to teammates when necessaryAbility to work flexible hours as required by the positionJoining Wieland's team gives youBenefits - Starting on Day 1!
