We are seeking a Board-CertifiedGeneral Surgery Physician for a long-term locum tenens opportunity in Pendleton,Oregon. This position offers a structured block schedule with a mix of clinic,call, and surgical responsibilities in a supportive hospital setting. Position Details Schedule: Monday - Friday clinic hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM 24-hour call coverage required Assignment Length: 7-10 day block schedule for approximately one year Coverage Includes: Scheduled outpatient clinic visits Post-operative care Inpatient and emergency consults Scheduled and emergency surgical procedures Responsibilities Provide comprehensive general surgery care in clinic and hospital settings Perform a full range of general surgical procedures Manage post-operative patients and follow-up care Respond to emergency surgical cases while on call Collaborate with hospital staff and ancillary services to ensure high-quality patient care Requirements Board Certified in General Surgery Active Oregon medical license ACLS and BLS certifications Active DEA Pendleton, OR is ahistoric Eastern Oregon town known for its Western heritage, outdoorrecreation, and annual Pendleton Round-Up rodeo.
