Product Engineer

Essential Job Functions:Apply new technologies to develop products that solve customer needs.Broad understanding of engineering principlesTake a concept from idea phase through to production launch.Develop and execute testing plans for novel concepts.Apply tools like DFMEA, DVP&R, Cost Estimates, and work within a stage-gate process.Collaborate within cross-functional teams to meet project deliverables.Embrace the iterative nature of R&D, knowing when to pause or persevere.Candidate Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.0-3+ years experience with new product development.Familiarity with CAD software (SolidWorks preferred) and basic knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.Strong problem-solving skills and curiosity.Effective communication and time management skills with the ability to work on multiple tasks independently.Familiarity with injection molding and extrusions; experience with glass or building materials a plus.Oracle or ERP system experience a plus.ShiftFirst Shift (United States of America)
