Job Posting: Maintenance TechnicianExperience The EMBREY Way by joining our dynamic Property Management Team as a Maintenance Technician at Southerly LoSo.As a Maintenance Technician, you will perform routine maintenance, repairs and inspections to ensure that buildings and facilities remain safe, functional and in good condition.ResponsibilitiesPerform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on building systemsRepair or replace faulty equipment, fixtures and appliancesMaintain HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems as neededRespond promptly to maintenance requests and emergenciesMaintain clean and safe work areas, including janitorial duties when neededEnsure all maintenance work complies with safety codes and company policiesKeep accurate records of maintenance activities and repairsAssist with building renovations, installations or furniture assemblyMonitor inventory of supplies and request replacements when necessaryCollaborate with contractors or vendors when specialized repairs are neededQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training is a plusProven experience in building maintenance, facilities or a related fieldBasic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry and general repairsAbility to read and interpret manuals, blueprints and work ordersStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsPhysical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects or work in tight spacesFamiliarity with safety regulations and proceduresValid driver's license (if travel between sites is required)Strong attention to detail and time management skillsGood communication and interpersonal skillsRequired Testing* Criminal Background Check, Non-DOT Testing, MVRPosition TypeHourly RateFull TimeCompetitive pay & benefits (including healthcare & 401k)Position Location* Charlotte, NC; Reporting: direct to Maintenance Supervisor.Choose EMBREY:Join an industry-leading team where we believe our people are our most important investment.
