In addition to robust primary care offerings, they also operate specialty service lines in cardiology, pediatrics, dermatology, endocrinology, podiatry, behavioral health, and much more. Their staff of more than 400 physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants are supported by dedicated team members, with resources such as on-site laboratory and radiology services. They also have affiliations with local hospitals for surgical and related services. They are currently hiring due to growth.POSITION DESCRIPTION: The new physician will diagnose and treat a full scope of ob/gyn conditions with a focus on improving patient outcomes.Specific duties of the role include, but are not limited to:- treat women during prenatal, natal, and postnatal periods- treat diseases of female organs- perform cesarean sections and other surgical procedures as needed- review patient histories- perform physical examinations- conduct/order diagnostic tests to determine diagnosesProcedures and surgeries may include, but are not limited to:- laparoscopic surgeries- open procedures- biopsies- cystoscopies- colposcopies- insertion and removal of subdermal contraception- IUD placement- intrauterine pressure catheter placementA variable number of patients per day are seen, based upon setting, physician preference, and patient needs.All visits and surgeries are prepped and supported by dedicated clinical and/or surgical assistants.The practice uses the Epic EHR.There will be participation in an on-call rotation - the practice will provide details during initial interviews and there is some flexibility to the schedule.REQUIREMENTS:- New York medical license- DEA- Board Certification, OB/GYN- laparoscopically trained- 1+ year OB/GYN experienceHOW TO APPLY:To apply for this position, please send your resume to Jenn Kunkel at or call .Please visit for a full list of openings at CHS Recruiting.
