Operations Finance Controller - Tulsa

System One is assisting a client with a search for an Operations Finance Controller to serve as the on-site finance partner to plant leadership, owning budgeting/forecasting and performance management.  This role focuses on FP&A, operational finance, and analytics (not transactional accounting), driving visibility into cost, margin, inventory, and capital to support decision-making.  This position will be based in Tulsa, OK. ResponsibilitiesPartner with plant leadership to provide decision-ready financial insightsLead budgeting, forecasting, and driver-based planning; explain key changesPerform variance analysis with root-cause and action itemsBuild and maintain plant KPI dashboards (labor, overhead, scrap, inventory, margin)Improve costing and margin transparency; link operations to financial resultsCollaborate with cost accounting on standard cost inputs and assumptionsSupport inventory performance and physical inventory analytics/reconciliationLead capex planning, ROI modeling, and investment trackingIdentify and track cost reduction initiativesLead/develop plant finance team and support SOX-aware controlsRequirementsBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field8+ years in manufacturing finance, plant FP&A, or operations financeStrong knowledge of manufacturing KPIs and cost driversAdvanced Excel and financial modeling skillsAbility to communicate effectively with non-finance leadersExperience building dashboards and performance reportingPreferred: standard costing, physical inventory, cost reduction leadershipPreferred: MBA, CPA, or CMAMajor plus: SAP (FI/CO or manufacturing data flows)On-site initially with potential flexibility after ramp-upSalarySalary: $130K - $160KSystem One, and its subsidiaries including Joulé, ALTA IT Services, and Mountain Ltd., are leaders in delivering outsourced services and workforce solutions across North America.
