Collect data, analyze, and report findings.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesHelp improve instruction by engaging teachers in professional development and data analysis activitiesEvaluate student achievement and assist with placing students in appropriate intervention servicesObserve and coach classroom teachers in effective practicesDemonstrate lessons which incorporate effective teaching practices, student engagement, differentiated instruction, behavior management, etc.Provide sustained mentoring to classroom teachersSupport building level leadership teamsMeet regularly with supervisor to report on progress and action planMeet with individual or groups of teachers to plan instruction and/or solve specific instructional and assessment issues or problemsAnalyze students’ work with individuals or groups of teachers, and then brainstorm next steps for adjusting instructionModel and co-teach effective instruction for teachersProvide various forms of literacy and/or mathematics professional development for teachers and administrators (large group presentations at staff meetings and on PD/SIP Days to individualized coaching within classrooms) for language arts and/or mathematicsConnect staff with various forms of available professional development resourcesParticipate in district level committees during and outside of the regular school day QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each of the essential duties listed above.
