The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Java-based backend development, microservices architecture, and RESTful API design, with a focus on performance, reliability, and clean code practices.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Java and Spring BootBuild scalable and high-performance microservices-based architectureDevelop and integrate RESTful APIs for web and enterprise applicationsCollaborate with frontend developers, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver end-to-end solutionsWrite efficient, reusable, and testable code following best practicesParticipate in code reviews, design discussions, and architecture planningOptimize application performance and troubleshoot production issuesWork with databases for schema design, query optimization, and data modelingImplement unit and integration testing for backend componentsRequired Skills & Experience3–8+ years of experience in Java backend developmentStrong proficiency in Java (8 or above)Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, HibernateStrong understanding of REST APIs and microservices architectureExperience with SQL databases (MySQL / PostgreSQL / Oracle)Knowledge of version control systems like GitFamiliarity with build tools (Maven / Gradle)Understanding of object-oriented design principles and design patternsPreferred Skills (Nice To Have)Experience with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / Google Cloud Platform)Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions)Experience with Kafka / RabbitMQ / messaging systemsExposure to Redis / caching mechanismsUnderstanding of agile development practices (Scrum/Kanban)Experience with unit testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito)
