Interventional Radiology Location: Elgin, IL Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $3,366 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 6/8/2026 About the Position Job Title: Rad Tech General Imaging Profession: Radiologic Technologist Specialty: General Imaging Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 8-hour Day Shift Hours per Shift: 40 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Cath Lab or IR experience preferred. License: IEMA (state) license required. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, ARRT required. Must-Have: Experience in circulating, sedating, and cardiac rhythm interpretation preferred. Ability to scrub and pan simultaneously. Experience with hemodynamic monitoring preferred. Description: This position involves working in a high-acuity environment. The role includes diagnostic and interventional heart catheterizations. Experience with procedures like right heart catheterizations, Impella, and balloon pumps is critical. You will also assist with procedures such as thrombectomies and PFO closures. In the Electrophysiology (EP) area, you will work with pacemakers and ablations. Interventional Radiology (IR) responsibilities involve performing peripheral diagnostics and interventions. The unit functions on a 1:1 patient care ratio. Nurses will sometimes have patient assignments, but typically do not. You will collaboratively work with a charge nurse and a team of healthcare professionals. The charting system utilized includes EPIC and Merge hemodynamic systems. On-call responsibilities include approximately 10-11 shifts per month, typically covering weekends. Expectations for response time are within 30 minutes for on-call situations. The holiday schedule includes being on call with a few designated holidays each contract.
