Sr. Mechanical Engineer

*Mechanical Engineer--AUTOMOTIVE* *IMMEDITAE JOINERS-2 WEEKS, only to apply. * Duration of project: 6 months with possible extension Location: Fishers, Indiana -- 5 days ONSITE Experience: 7+ years. *Mandatory Skills: Teamcenter, SolidWorks and Catia, with sheet metal, fixtures, stamping experience in AUTOMOTIVE.* *Core Engineering & Design*· * Revision Management: Administer engineering changes (ECO/ECN) and manage CAD libraries and PDM systems. * Prototyping & Testing: Support the building of prototypes and assist in transitioning products from concept to manufacturing. * 3D Modeling & Detailing: Create 3D parts, assemblies, and manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks. *Onsite-Offshore Coordination*· Task Delegation: Translate client requirements and redlines into clear, actionable design packages for the offshore team. * Quality Assurance: Review all offshore deliverables for accuracy, manufacturing feasibility, and adherence to company drafting standards. * Communication Bridge: Conduct regular sync-ups with the offshore team to clarify design intent, resolve queries, and mitigate project delays due to time-zone differences. * Progress Tracking: Monitor project milestones and ensure offshore deliverables meet the local client's deadlines Benefits: * Health insurance * Life insurance * Vision insurance Work Location: In person
