Sales Manager
If you are an enthusiastic self-starter with a passion for selling and you enjoy working with customers and Sales Consultants, then we want you to be part of our team as a Sales Manager. The Sales Manager is extremely knowledgeable about our vehicles and services, the industry, and our market, including vehicle selection, performance, accessories, efficiencies, safety features and functions, and financing options for both new and used vehicle inventories. He or she provides superior customer service by understanding and demonstrating the characteristics, capabilities, and features of various vehicles and by developing and qualifying a customer base that will lead to the sale and delivery of vehicles.
The ideal candidate has a positive attitude, a confident and outgoing personality, a professional appearance, great communication skills, and the ability to deliver world class customer service. Sales or Finance Management experience is highly preferred, but not required. Candidates must be self-motivated with a willingness to continuously prospect to sell a minimum quota (or more!) on an ongoing basis.
Responsibilities
Qualifies buyers by understanding buyer's requirements and interests, matching requirements and interests to various models, and building rapport
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, and completing OEM Training Modules
Closes sales for Sales Consultants by overcoming objections, asking for sale, negotiating terms, completing sale, delivering automobile, and following up after the sale
Provides upper management information by completing reports
Develops business by maintaining rapport with previous customers, suggesting trade-ins, meeting prospects at community activities, greeting potential clients, responding to inquiries, and setting firm appointments
Supports all Sales Consultant training activities including Sales Process, CRM, and Product Knowledge.
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Valid California driver's license with satisfactory driving record
Must be at least 21 years old
Strong desire to meet sales goals
Able to work a flexible schedule
Strong telephone, texting, email, and social media communication skills
Active listening skills
Sales or Finance Management experience preferred
The New Car Manager Position has a Pay Scale consisting of the following elements and ranges. Wages include Salary Compensation of $6,100.00 per month. The position also pays commission compensation which is based on the value or amount of closed sales achieved.We anticipate that this position has the ability to pay total compensation of between $144,000.00 to $200,000.00 per year.
