Structural Engineer

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Structural Engineer to join our innovative engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and analyzing structural designs for a variety of projects, ensuring safety, durability, and compliance with building codes and regulations. You will collaborate closely with project managers, architects, and contractors to deliver high-quality structural solutions that meet client needs and project specifications. *Duties*
* Perform detailed structural analysis utilizing tools like Enercalc, Risa3D, and other structural engineering practices to evaluate load capacities and material performance.
* Conduct building code analysis and ensure all designs comply with local construction regulations, safety standards, and industry best practices.
* Prepare technical reports, design documentation, and drafting drawings that clearly communicate project details to clients and construction teams.
* Collaborate on project scheduling and management to meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards; coordinate with project engineers on system design and BIM (Building Information Modeling) tools.
* Support construction activities by providing technical guidance on concrete, steel, masonry, and other structural elements; oversee quality control during construction phases.
*Qualifications*
* Excellent analytical skills with the ability to perform structural analysis using various tools; attention to detail is essential.
* Effective communication skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and convey technical information clearly.
* Strong proficiency in Structural Engineering principles, including building codes and industry standards.
* Ability to perform Structural calculations and Analysis for a variety of structural systems and materials.
* Experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools and workflows for producing and reviewing structural drawings and models.
* Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering.
* Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification; eligibility and intent to pursue Professional Engineer (PE) licensure is highly valued.
* Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
* Effective written and verbal communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
* Experience with structural design software (Enercalc, Risa3d) and familiarity with construction practices is beneficial.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
