Join the YMCA of Collier County and help create a safe, enriching, and memorable summer experience for children in grades K8.The Summer Camp Assistant Director/Site Supervisor is responsible for the overall development, implementation, and supervision of the Summer Camp Program, working closely with the School Age Manager. This role leads a team dedicated to delivering high-quality school-age care while upholding YMCA standards and Department of Children and Families (DCF) regulations.Responsibilities:Oversee daily operations of the Summer Camp ProgramLead, supervise, and support Program CounselorsEnsure compliance with YMCA policies and DCF regulationsProvide guidance, coaching, and performance feedback to staffMaintain a safe, structured, and engaging environment for campers (K8th grade)Communicate regularly with the School Age Manager and submit required reportsBuild positive relationships with families, staff, and community partnersModel YMCA core values: caring, honesty, respect, and responsibilityQualifications:Experience in youth development, camp leadership, or school-age programmingPrevious supervisory or leadership experience (preferred)Strong knowledge of child care licensing and DCF regulationsExcellent organizational, communication, and team-building skillsAbility to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environmentIf you're ready to lead a dynamic team and make a lasting difference in the lives of children this summer, we want to hear from you!
