We are seeking an Instrumentation & Electrical Technician Supervisor to lead electrical, instrumentation, and field control system support for pipeline and terminal operations. This role is responsible for supervising I&E technicians, supporting safe and compliant operations, and partnering with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to maintain and improve system reliabilityResponsibilitiesLead and support safe, reliable, and compliant pipeline and terminal operationsSupervise and provide technical guidance to field I&E technicians, including work prioritization and communication of job progressOversee and perform maintenance of field instrumentation, control devices, and electrical power systemsCoordinate maintenance activities with operations and maintenance teams to minimize downtime and improve efficiency Help verify that new and existing electrical systems meet applicable code requirements in coordination with the P&T Electrical Engineer Partners with engineering on capital projects, including scope development, cost estimation, implementation, cutover, startup, and management of change activities Support operations and maintenance on project planning, budgeting, installation, and startup of I&E-related work Develop and maintain I&E related maintenance, inspection, and training procedures Collaborate with controls and SCADA engineering to install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot control systems Use electrical monitoring equipment, calibration devices, testing equipment, and computer-based tools to support maintenance and troubleshooting Provide on-call or after-hours operational support as needed to maintain facility reliability.Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements Participate in safety reviews, training, emergency response, and pipeline safety/811 awareness activities as needed Wear required personal protective equipment, including respirators,Ability to work extended hours as required to meet business needs, including emergency response. Perform other duties as assignedMinimum Qualifications (required)High School Diploma or GED2+ years of experience in industrial instrumentation and electrical systemsAdditional QualificationsJourneyman or master electrician license Bachelor’s degree in electrical, controls, or mechanical engineering from an accredited college or university 10+ years of industrial instrumentation and electrical experience, or 5+ years with a relevant technical degree Petroleum industry experience Understanding of process control system architecture, including security, functionality, and performance requirements Experience with capital project design, cost estimation, scheduling, construction management, and cost control 2+ years of leadership or personnel management experience Experience with PLCs, HMIs, calibration tools, and electrical testing equipment Working knowledge of high- and low-voltage electrical systems, process controls, pumps, hydraulics, and cathodic protection HAZWOPER certificationCHS offers a competitive total rewards package. Compensation includes base wage and, depending upon position, may include other earnings such as bonus, incentives and commissions.
