SUMMARY
Responsible for receiving, stocking,preparationand shipping of merchandise to customers in local and outlying areas.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
The ideal Candidate will have the ability to operate forklift/pallet jack and cherry picker; ability to lift 40-60 pounds repeatedly each shift, ability to bend, stoop, climb, stand and twist for extended periods of time; ability to successfully complete forklifttraining/certificationrequirements; and ability to operate a Radio Frequency (RF)or Voice Pick devices.ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Accurately select/pick merchandise from assigned slot and confirm the correct quantity and unit of measure.Load Merchandise intoappropriate truck.Drop merchandise for "reserve" to "pick" slots.Prepare VIA merchandise for shipment on freight lines.Repack loose merchandise for shipping/delivery.Verify quality of product,packagingand adherence to vendor compliance policy.Accurately adhere to Warehouse Labor Standard, “Preferred Method Standard”.Identifyand report slot and put-away problems.Shrink wrap merchandise/pallets after picking as needed.Performshouse keepingduties as assigned.Perform other duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONS
Education
Preferred qualifications are: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.Previousknowledge of SAP, one year warehouse experience andpreviousforklift certification.Experience
6 months ofpreviouswarehouse experience and/or training preferred.Material handling equipment experience preferred.Reach truck experience a plus.Requirement
Must be at least 18 years of age.Mustpass a functionalcapacitytest.Work Environment

Jobis performed in a warehouse/operations environment.Frequently exposed to fast-moving material handling equipment or other mechanical equipment.This is a full-time position.Must have the ability to work avaryingschedule which might include shift work (days or nights), weekdays or weekends, and some holidays.Work hours mayvaryor change based on customer orders, departmental or business requirements.The position does not require travel.
