Senior accountant

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $75,000 to $85,000 per year. Job Responsibilities:Manage daily accounting activities for an active fund and support wind-down processes as needed.Track development-related expenses and coordinate funding draws with property managers.Process corporate credit card transactions and assist with accounts payable functions.Perform full-cycle month-end close, including bank reconciliations, journal entries, and AR/AP.Prepare and process dividend distributions and handle intercompany transactions. Requirements:A minimum of 3+ years of professional accounting experience.Strong understanding of GAAP and financial compliance standards.Experience preparing consolidated financial statements and managing intercompany activity.Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks and Sage is preferred.Intermediate to advanced Excel skills for financial analysis and reporting. Qualifications:A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required.Real estate industry experience is a plus but not mandatory.Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.Strong communication skills for presenting financial data and coordinating with stakeholders.REF #50892
