JOB DESCRIPTION:
Reports to: Head of Digital Adoption
The P2P Deployment Manager will drive hands-on deployment and change activities for the procurement transformation. The role ensures that procurement policies, standards, and ways of working are embedded within the Coupa ReqtoPay (R2P) solution, while also aligning with upstream SourcetoContract (S2C) processes delivered through Ariba. This role focuses on process alignment, gap assessment, personabased change impacts, roles and responsibilities definition, training support, stakeholder engagement, and execution of deployment tasks in line with the overall programme plan.
This role is a doer — focused on practical delivery, robust analysis, and driving behavioural and process change across the organization as it transitions towards procurement ways of working.
Key Accountabilities
1. Process Alignment & Gap Assessment
Conduct detailed “asis” and “tobe” process mapping for P2P within Coupa, with clear integration to upstream S2C activity in Ariba.
Identify gaps between TA practices and bp procurement processes, policies, and standards.
Map endtoend process flows from category strategy → sourcing → contracting → requisitioning → purchase order → invoice → pay.
Define future-state roles and responsibilities, including critical handoffs between S2C and P2P.
2. Change Impact Assessment & Stakeholder Engagement
Produce persona-based change impact assessments that clearly define what will change for each user group.
Identify and document behavioural, process, and system impacts.
Gather stakeholder pain points and operational issues, translating them into structured improvement plans.
Draft clear, concise communications to support awareness, readiness, and adoption.
3. Deployment Support & Training Enablement
Support deployment planning and execution in alignment with programme milestones, scope, and schedule.
Collaborate with global teams (KL, Budapest, Pune, London) to ensure consistent deployment practices.
Contribute to training content, logistics, and delivery to prepare end users for new processes and tools.
Support hypercare and stabilization activities postgolive.
4. Value Case, Metrics & Performance
Ensure the procurement value case is well-defined, measurable, and supported with the appropriate KPIs.
Track and report on performance metrics tied to process adoption, compliance, and efficiency improvements.
Ensure process changes enable bp-wide value realization goals.
5. Governance, Risk & Issue Management
Identify, track, and manage risks, issues, and dependencies across process, system, and change activities.
Provide clear, structured input to governance forums and status reporting.
Ensure decision-making is supported through accurate data and insight.
Required Experience & Skills
Strong procurement experience, with deep understanding of P2P processes and good awareness of S2C activities.
Ability to learn and work with Coupa (R2P) and Ariba (S2C/Contracts); direct system experience is preferred but not required for a strong procurement practitioner.
Demonstrated experience in process mapping, gap assessment, and operating model alignment.
Experience defining roles and responsibilities and cross-functional handoffs.
Proven capability in change management, including persona impacts, communications, and behavioural adoption.
Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, especially with field operations or complex business environments.
Experience supporting training development and readiness for diverse stakeholder groups.
Comfort working across global, distributed teams and operating in a matrixed environment.
Ability to turn pain points and issues into structured, actionable activity plans.
Preferred Skills
Experience in retail, travel centers, convenience, fuel, or field-based operations.
Familiarity with bp procurement policies and standards.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capability.
Ability to simplify complexity and communicate clearly across all levels.
Leadership Expectations
Drive value creation through structured problem solving and disciplined execution.
Build strong relationships across global teams and business stakeholders.
Lead through collaboration, aligning people around common ways of working.
Continuously improve, using insights and data to enhance process quality and adoption.
Act with care and integrity, demonstrating accountability and professionalism at all times.
Thank You!
