Cook (Full Time)
Description:
Prepare meals according to established recipes and menus.
Ensure that all meals are nutritious, delicious, and visually appealing.
Monitor and accommodate special dietary needs and restrictions.
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, including proper storage of food and supplies.
Ensure that all food is prepared safely and hygienically.
Collaborate with other staff members to ensure that all resident needs are met.
Keep inventory of food and supplies and order as needed.
Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines.
Requirements:
Previous experience as a cook, preferably in an assisted living facility or similar setting is preferred.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and guidelines is preferred.
Ability to accommodate special dietary needs and restrictions.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
