QC Lab Manager / R&D

Our client is seeking a QC R&D Lab Manager who will be responsible for leading and overseeing day-to-day operations of a research and development laboratory. This role willl provide technical and managerial leadership to ensure high-quality analytical development, method validation, and laboratory compliance.Please note: For confidentiality purposes, this position is not located in Blue Bell. The role is based in the tri-state area.Key Responsibilities:Lead, manage, and develop a team of scientists and analysts within the R&D laboratory, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.Serve as a subject matter expert for chromatographic and analytical techniques including LC, GC, and Dissolution.Ensure accurate and compliant use of Empower software for data acquisition, processing, and reporting.Plan, prioritize, and manage laboratory projects to meet development timelines and business goals.Review, approve, and author technical documentation including protocols, validation reports, SOPs, and development reports.Ensure laboratory operations comply with applicable GMP, GLP, and regulatory requirements.Manage laboratory resources, including equipment, materials, budgets, and external vendors as needed.Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry (Master’s or PhD preferred).Minimum of 15 years of experienceHands on expertise in LC, GC, Dissolution, and chromatographic method development and validation.7+ years of supervisory experienceProven ability to lead and mentor senior-level scientists and analysts.
