Ormond Beach, FL $23/hour + 5% 401(k) match + PTO Full-time, on-site Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST Non-smoking property Factory Direct Trains, Inc. is a specialty retailer serving serious model train customers nationwide. We’ve recently moved our operations to Ormond Beach and are hiring a reliable, detail-driven person to run day-to-day warehouse, fulfillment, and inventory operations. This role is for someone who likes structure, accuracy, and being the person others rely on to keep things running smoothly. If you need constant supervision, this will not be a good fit. What You’ll Be Responsible For Receive and check in inbound product shipments, verifying counts and condition Organize and maintain accurate warehouse inventory Pick, pack, and ship customer orders daily with consistent packing standards Print shipping labels and manage outbound packages using ShipStation Process customer returns and restock inventory correctly Monitor packaging supplies and reorder before shortages occur Use Shopify daily for order fulfillment and inventory visibility Communicate clearly and consistently throughout the day using Slack Flag discrepancies, damaged items, or process issues early Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and efficient Tools You’ll Use Shopify (order fulfillment and inventory) ShipStation (shipping labels, carriers, outbound tracking) Slack (primary internal communication) What We’re Looking For Strong attention to detail. Accuracy is non-negotiable Comfortable using technology as part of daily work Confident working in Shopify, ShipStation, and Slack (or able to learn quickly) Dependable, steady, and able to work independently without micromanagement Warehouse, fulfillment, shipping, or inventory experience preferred Basic computer literacy required Able to lift boxes and remain on your feet during the workday Comfortable working on a non-smoking property Reliable transportation and consistent attendance required (on-site role) What “Good” Looks Like Here Orders ship accurately and on time Inventory stays organized and discrepancies are caught early Returns are processed cleanly and restocks are correct Packaging supplies are always stocked Communication in Slack is timely, clear, and professional Compensation & Benefits $23/hour 5% company match on 401(k) Paid time off No health insurance benefits at this time How to Apply Apply with your resume and briefly answer the following: What systems have you used for shipping or order fulfillment (Shopify, ShipStation, etc.)?
