Trident Consulting is seeking a Chemical Manufacturing Operator" for one of our clients in Martin, South Carolina" A global leader in business and technology services.Role: Chemical Manufacturing OperatorPay Rate: $20/hour on w2ContractShift Schedule12-hour rotating swing shiftsDay Shift: 6:30 AM – 7:00 PMNight Shift: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AMExperience Required1–2 years of chemical manufacturing experience preferredForklift experience requiredInterview Process30-minute in-person interviewJob SummarySupport the manufacturing of products according to established protocols and perform operations in support of the group, department, and company objectives.Essential Job FunctionsProduction & Packaging OperationsPerform production operations according to current production processes and proceduresPerform packaging operations per established proceduresTransport chemicals and equipment to and from production areas using:Pumps and piping systemsForkliftsPallet jacksDolliesEnsure product quality and quantity throughout the production processWear appropriate PPE for production processes, including:Full-face respiratorsGlovesProtective suitsClean equipment and work areas after production operationsCoordinate proper waste disposal and complete compliance documentationDocumentation & CommunicationCommunicate the status of production operations and equipment to supervisorsReport any deviations or operational issues immediatelyComplete accurate batch records consistent with quality guidelinesEnsure all applicable logbooks are completed accurately and on timeSafety & ComplianceFollow all production procedures and safety policies at all timesUse, clean, and store PPE appropriatelyProperly label all in-process equipment and containersTake corrective action to resolve unsafe conditionsParticipate in required safety and quality training programsMaintain good housekeeping in laboratory and production areasBasic QualificationsEducationAssociate's degree (AA) in a Life Science field with 1–2 years of relevant experience ORHigh school diploma with 1–3 years of experience in a similar manufacturing environmentRequired SkillsSafe chemical handling methodsStrong verbal and written communication skillsBasic computer skillsMechanical aptitudeTroubleshooting skillsStrong interpersonal skillsAbility to work in a team-oriented manufacturing environment
