Signage and Print Production Operator
FPW Media, a rapidly growing creative studio in Springfield, Oregon, is seeking a Signage and Print Production Operator. We handle all our clients' marketing needs in-house, with services including photography, video production, graphic design, web design, and branding. Our three integrated divisions—Brand, Films, and Merch—ensure quality, consistency, and quick turnarounds.
The Signage and Print Production Operator is responsible for the production of print materials, signage, and custom requests through the Signage and Print Department. They are also responsible for the operation of the department’s digital presses and ancillary production equipment. This role works closely with the Signage and Print team, Creative Service teams, and the Account Management team to ensure that internal and externally produced goods are completed at the highest quality and within the project scope, timeline, and budget. Additionally this role is involved with installation for the S&P Department which includes installing printed graphics and signage, such as vehicle wraps, window and wall coverings, dimensional logos, SEGs, AV equipment and other custom components.

Education and Experience Expectations:
High school or equivalent required.
Experience with basic operation of Mac and Windows systems is required.
Driver’s License Required
At least two years of Design experience required.
At least two years of Print experience is preferred
At least two years of vinyl installation experience is preferred
Responsibilities and Duties:
Collaborate with the Account Management team, Creative Service teams, Signage and Print team, clients, external vendors, and partners to complete projects on time, within budget, and in accordance with other project parameters.
Review all artwork created by those in the Graphic Design department to ensure accurate setup based on the chosen production method(s)
Create comprehensive production ready files that can be printed using the relevant production equipment
Troubleshoot artwork files and production methods and offer potential solutions
Communicate effectively with Graphic Design, Project Management, Merch, and Films teams, where applicable, to ensure projects are completed accurately and on time
Work efficiently with attention to detail, following both written and verbal directions, and asking questions where the requirement or outcome is unclear
Ability to recognize discrepancies between materials provided and production expectations
Provide factual and timely information on all aspects and status of work assigned, and completes all reporting requirements accurately and on time
Display positive attitude, is dependable, flexible, and accepts new tasks and responsibilities as given
Operation of Production Department equipment including digital presses, printers, plotters, laminators, and other production equipment
Various Lamination / Bindery tasks when applicable
Installation of print related assets on-site or at client facilities. This work may include weekend, evening, and multi-day installations. Vehicle vinyl installations are a core part of this work and can include passenger vehicles as well as commercial trucks, box trucks, and tanker trucks. Signage installation is also core to this role and can include indoor and outdoor signage on-site at client facilities.

Physical Requirements: Work to be conducted primarily in office and at a client locations. This position requires work during the regular work week during normal business hours, but may include weekend and evening installations. This position will require some lifting (up to 50 lbs.) and long hours at a computer using a keyboard and mouse in addition to prolonged periods of standing and/or walking. Installations to take place on-site or at client facilities and may involve prolonged standing, lifting, or bending to complete the work. Installation may require the use of ladders, scaffolding, or mechanical lifts. Working at heights (up to/exceeding 30+ feet) or in cramped/enclosed spaces is occasionally required. All safety equipment/training will be provided.
