We create experiences.Our key building blocks:- Independence- Innovation- Inclusion- Community- SustainabilityWe're looking for an experienced and motivated FP&A Controller to support the overall Finance and Accounting department objectives related to accounting, financial planning & analysis, and management duties, and will lean into the FP&A workload as the priority. A variety of analytical duties, including the collection and analysis of financial data from numerous sources, with the majority of analysis being presented to senior management. The position requires in-depth knowledge of business and sales dynamics, forecasting analytics, and strong reporting skills. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills, strong business acumen and accounting knowledge, and the ability to think fluidly during presentations and conversations. The position can expect to spend most of their time working on daily value add reporting, reconciliations, weekly/monthly/quarterly reporting, and special projects.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (including but not limited to):Financial Planning & AnalysisDaily/Weekly/Monthly/Quarterly/Annual ReportingBusiness Plan Development - Budget & Forecast ModelingCash Flow ModelingCost Center Reporting and CollaborationERP system super user/administrator - master data clean up / refinementSales & Gross Margin analysis and reporting, By Channel, By CategoryMarket research and data analytics, sell through reportingPricing validations & modelingDemand/Merchandise planning and purchasing analysis and modelingOperational efficiency and cost analysis and reportingExpert-level Excel modeling and database querying/reportingAssist with the preparation of the consolidated financial statements and financial presentationsAssist with various ad-hoc reports and projectsMonth End / Accounting / ComplianceMonth End Close RecsAudit/Tax/Banking ReportingSales/Use Tax Reporting/ComplianceGL account analysis and reconciliationsAR/AP Mgmt and ReportingGL account analysis and reconciliationsInventory cost accounting and reportingAssist in accounting month-end close processRequirementsQUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:• Excellent analytical, written, and oral communication skills• BA/BS in Finance, Accounting, or related field• Highly proficient in MS Excel, Word, Outlook, etc• Ability to work in a fast pace, time sensitive environment• Organized, self-motivated, ability to multi-task, team player• 3-5 years progressive leadership experience in Accounting and FinancePLUS FACTORS:• Full Circle Accounting Software experience or other comparable ERP system• Knowledge or experience in outdoor/action sports related industries• Work experience with a private equity backed companySalary Description
