Network Engineer (Cisco & AWS Expertise)

Job Title: Network Engineer (Cisco & AWS Expertise) Location: RemoteAbout the Role: We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer to take over a critical project for our client. This role involves troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving network issues, particularly with Meraki hardware, Cisco networking, and AWS integrations.Key Responsibilities:Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity issues at the Georgia distribution center to ensure reliable communication with AWS.Perform hands-on troubleshooting of Meraki hardware and software configurations across multiple locations.Collaborate with Cisco and AWS support teams, leveraging your expertise to identify and address network-related problems.Conduct a comprehensive assessment of the current network environment, including Meraki configurations, routing, and VLAN setups.Optimize network performance by implementing best practices and recommended changes based on findings.Provide documentation and updates to the client regarding network status and any changes made.Requirements:Proven experience as a Network Engineer with expertise in Cisco networking and AWS.Practical experience with troubleshooting and configuring Meraki hardware and software.Familiarity with network routing, VLANs, and VPN configurations in a multi-site environment.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently to resolve complex network issues.Excellent communication skills to interact with the client and provide updates.Preferred Qualifications:Prior experience working with distribution centers or complex network environments.AWS certifications or Cisco certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP).Ability to start immediately.About Buchanan TechnologiesSince Buchanan’s inception over 30 years ago, we have operated on 5 core values – People Matter, Customers Matter, Principles Matter, Community Matters, and Every Interaction Matters.
