Diesel Parts Mechanic- $18/hour

Job Full DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to diagnose, repair, and rebuild diesel engines and oilfield equipment, with a strong focus on drive shaft repair and fabrication. This role requires hands-on mechanical experience, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced shop environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDiagnose and repair diesel engines, including overhauls and complete rebuildsRepair, balance, and rebuild oilfield drive shafts and related componentsPerform preventative maintenance on diesel equipment and vehiclesInspect equipment to identify wear, damage, or potential failuresDisassemble, clean, and reassemble engine components to manufacturer specificationsWeld, fabricate, and modify parts as needed for repairsMaintain accurate service records and work ordersEnsure all work is completed safely and in compliance with company and industry standardsAssist with troubleshooting hydraulic and mechanical systemsQualificationsExperience as a diesel mechanic or heavy equipment technicianStrong knowledge of diesel engines, drivetrains, and oilfield equipmentExperience with drive shaft repair, balancing, or fabrication preferredAbility to read and interpret technical manuals and schematicsWelding and fabrication experience is a plusOwn tools preferredValid driver's license requiredSkills & AbilitiesStrong mechanical and problem-solving skillsAttention to detail and quality workmanshipAbility to lift 50+ lbs and work in a shop environmentDependable, punctual, and able to work independently or on a teamTo get started immediately please call us at (325) 704-3455, or come by our office at 408 A Lonestar Drive!
