Together, let's make a positive impact and empower the next generation of leaders.Job SummaryGeorgia Gwinnett College (GGC) is seeking candidates for the positions of part-time clinical nursing faculty in the School of Health Sciences. Faculty report to the Dean of Health Sciences and will be responsible for working closely with the program Director and program faculty in the clinical instruction of nursing students. Clinical faculty will be responsible for instruction in the clinical setting simulation laboratory and/or clinical skills practice laboratory.ResponsibilitiesClinical instruction 12 hours per week each semesterEvaluate students in clinical settings and all clinical activitiesEvaluate clinical sites for program evaluationComplete all orientation requirements of clinical sitesRequired QualificationsMaster's degree in Nursing requiredExcellent clinical skills across the life spanRecent clinical experienceCurrent Georgia nursing license in good standing with Georgia Board of NursingCurrent BLS Certification for Healthcare Providers requiredPreferred QualificationsMinimum 2 year experience in clinical teaching in higher educationUSG Core ValuesThe University System of Georgia is comprised of our 25 institutions of higher education and learning as well as the System Office.
