AEROSPACE ENGINEER

Position Description You will serve as a AEROSPACE ENGINEER in the RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT GROUP, WEAPONS & ENERGETICS DEPT, WEAPONS MS&A DIV, WEAPONS DISTRIBUTED SIMULATION BR of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV CHINA LAKE. Position Duties/Responsibilities You will be responsible for evaluating weapon system and system-of-systems performance, characterizing weapon behavior, and determining overall mission effectiveness utilizing advanced simulation architectures. You will lead and participate in the comprehensive planning, objective (measures) definition, and tactical execution of LRASM test events. You will conduct detailed data analysis and draw logical, actionable conclusions from LRASM simulation runs. You will provide technical support to maintain the integrity of the local analyst workstation and simulation software environment. You will analyze weapon system and system-of-systems performance to identify capabilities, operational limits, and areas for tactical optimization.
